Philippe Clerc synopsis

Philippe is graduated from College of Europe/ Collège d’Europe (Bruges- Belgium). He holds too diplomas from Grenoble, Paris-Nanterre and Paris-Dauphine universities.

After starting his career as a lawyer, he was propulsed by his various positions into Competitve Intelligence becoming a key actor of its development in France.

Philippe is currently chairman of Association Internationale Francophone d’Intelligence Economique ( International and Francophone Association for the Development of CI) which brings together practitioners and competitive intelligence researchers from five continents.

He is Chairman of the Steering Committee Intelligence Competitive at the International Trade Center (ITC) in Geneva. As such, he participates in the definition and animation of the business support strategies in the three fields of Economic Intelligence, Innovation and the Digital Economy.

In this context, as CI, innovation and IT manager at ACFCI and CCI France, he was the rapporteur for the French CCI of the report on Regional Strategic Intelligence Organizations in 2004, and in 2010, of the report "Economic intelligence and the CCI network at the 2015 horizon".

From 2013 to 2015, he was governor of the working group “Management of strategic intelligence” at the European Standard Organization.

He was also senior advisor (2014-2015) of the French Interministerial Delegate for Economic Intelligence. In this context, he carried out various missions of analysis, coordination and awareness-raising on the methods of Economic Intelligence.

In 2013, he participated to the creation of the Open University of Dakhla of which is an administrator and initiated the Franco-Chinese center in Changsha (Hunan Province) for Technology Transfer
